We are a team of researchers based at the University of Derby with an interest in research related to dementia. Our team consists of registered nurses, psychologists and other healthcare professionals.
Our vision is that one day soon our work will not be needed, as we eagerly await cures for dementia and related conditions. Rather than focusing on cures, our work is primarily aimed at deepening understanding of the experience of, perceptions of and attitudes towards dementia. We conduct qualitative and quantitative social research with a diverse range of methods.
This website hosts summaries of our completed projects and research, as well as providing additional information for current studies ongoing.
